Thierry Vanden Hende is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. Thierry joined Morgan Stanley’s Analyst Program in 1999. Thierry is part of Morgan Stanley Real Estate’s European Investing team.
Thierry joined Morgan Stanley Real Estate as a Vice President in 2005. Since joining, Thierry has been involved in real estate transactions involving NPLs, commercial, residential and industrial portfolios and developments across Europe (Germany, UK, CEE and Russia). Thierry has been involved in all fund activities including origination, execution, structuring, financing, management, disposal and restructuring of investments.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Real Estate, Thierry worked for Morgan Stanley’s Banking Division (Advisory Group) where he focused on the execution of mainly M&A transactions for corporate clients, financial sponsors and governments across several European jurisdictions (Benelux, France, Germany, UK and Switzerland) and across various industries (energy and utilities, infrastructure, media, medical technology, telecommunications). During this period, Thierry gained broad transaction experience (financing analysis; due diligence; negotiations, financings and restructurings).
